Marketing & Promotion

Victoria Street’s revitalisation will use a two-step approach:

1. Immediate Activations – Moon Lantern and Lunar Festival and mini campaigns to boost foot traffic and trader sales.

2. Long-Term Storytelling – celebrating 50 years of Vietnamese settlement and showcasing local traders through multicultural food and culture.

Backed by local businesses and the City of Yarra, year-round marketing will keep Victoria Street visible and growing, with storytelling promotions launching in late 2025 and continuing through 2026.

Cleaning & Greening 

We will run a trial with the City of Yarra and the Victorian Government to deliver two initiatives:

• Greening Street – adding more greenery to enhance Victoria Street’s appearance and atmosphere.

• Cleaning Street – improving cleanliness to create a safer, more welcoming environment for the community and visitors.

Trader Collaboration and Networking

Business Skills – support traders to strengthen their skills and run their businesses in today environment.

Collaboration & Innovation – explore new products and experiences through collaboration and networking.
