Marketing & Promotion

Victoria Street’s revitalisation strategy focuses on standing out through a two-step marketing approach: immediate sales activations and long-term brand building via storytelling. By celebrating multiculturalism and Vietnamese 50 year settlement, the campaign will highlight local traders and connect their businesses to food and culture. With support from local businesses and the City of Yarra, a year-round marketing effort will maintain visibility and drive growth, starting with storytelling promotions in late 2025 and continuing into 2026.

Cleaning & Greening 

We will run a trial in collaboration with the City of Yarra and the Victorian Government to implement "Greening Street" and "Cleaning Street" initiatives—enhancing Victoria Street’s appearance with more greenery and improved cleanliness to create a safer, more inviting environment for the community and visitors.

Trader Collaboration and Networking

We will work with multicultural traders to support capacity building and business learning, with a focus on developing a visual project to tell stories of our local businesses. This initiative will strengthen skills, foster collaboration, and showcase the unique stories and offerings of Victoria Street traders to a wider audience.
