CODE OF CONDUCT
VICTORIA STREET BUSINESS ASSOCIATION MEMBER CODE OF CONDUCT
You are individually responsible to:
Act consistently with VSBA purpose; and b. not cause any harm or detriment to the public image of VSBA.
As a minimum, you are to become familiar with and strive to fulfil the following:
The duty to exercise powers in good faith in the interest of the community as a whole and for a proper purpose; and b. the duty not to misuse information.
VSBA members strive to help build a strong culture within the community based on the importance of openness, honesty, fostering trust and mutual respect.
You will relate to and communicate with the employees or committee member who may, however, as a matter of mutual convenience, delegate another staff member to deal with or assist members, either generally or on particular matters.
Behave with dignity and not bully, shout, abuse, intimidate, belittle or harass fellow members, VSBA employees or Office Bearers.
Treat all people associated with VSBA, including Board members, volunteers, partners, external stakeholders and other members with respect.
Should VSBA members breach this code they shall be dealt with according to the constitution.
